Welcome!
River Birch Animal Farm is located on the Middle Peninsula just a few miles east of Urbanna on Rt. 33. It's open to the public and FREE, totally supported by the generous donations of our visitors. The farm is home to hundreds of animals but it's also a refuge for animals whose owners could no longer take care of them. Currently, we have ostriches, emus, lamas, pigs, donkeys, goats, sheep, peacocks, rabbits, chickens, miniature horses, and turkeys, just to name a few! The weather's getting warm so come by with your family, school group, or birthday party and take advantage of this animal kingdom in Middlesex County!
